A History of Chinese Civilization (Hardcover, signed copies only, sold in the United States)

In his "Outline of Chinese History," Mr. Qian Mu expressed the view that the people of a nation should hold a certain warmth and respect for their own history. I wholeheartedly agree with this. However, merely possessing some historical knowledge is insufficient to understand the characteristics of a nation; it is essential to extract the cultural essence of that nation from its history.

This book, *A History of Chinese Civilization*, attempts to discuss the essential differences between the Chinese nation and other nations. This is by no means an attempt to promote narrow nationalism, as I firmly believe that all nations were created by God and should live in harmony and equality. However , nation is a cultural concept; therefore, the revival of a nation must be based on the revival of its unique culture. Otherwise, we may be reviving another nation, or even failing to achieve national revival due to a lack of cultural support.

In light of this, we must trace back to the roots of Chinese civilization's faith, the foundation upon which the gods laid the cornerstone of civilization and established the cultural framework for this nation. Such discussions are precisely what are rarely seen in current works on the history of civilization.

During the more than seventy years that the CCP seized power, Chinese civilization suffered a devastating blow. Fortunately, while tangible objects can be destroyed, the intangible spirit still lingers among the people. Through my Buddhist practice, I have gained a unique perspective on Chinese civilization, which I present in this book in an academic manner, hoping to contribute to the reconstruction of our national civilization.

The CCP's rule was one of the most brutal, barbaric, and dark periods in human history. But as the saying goes, "after the extreme comes the return," and once we have passed through this period, we will face the reconstruction of faith, the resurgence of morality, and the revival of culture. In this era of great historical change, it is our wish and our good fortune to be able to publish this book in accordance with this trend.

I also believe that the best of different cultures should learn from each other. Therefore, to spread these ideas to mainland China and other ethnic groups, we established the " Dawn Alliance ," a non-profit organization, to raise funds for the compilation, publication, and translation of these books. During this process, we received generous donations from many people from all walks of life, enabling this massive project to be completed. We express our sincere gratitude!
